Twitter, Twitterer, twittered already? -

Twitter is a free service mix social networking, instant messaging, and wireless communication through mobile phones (twitter apps) and computers to distribute up to 140 character messages about what someone does. Anyone paying even minimal attention to the technology now includes a short message service called “Twitter.” People opens a Twitter account and invite friends to join or connect with other members. A Twitterer gets a personal web page that shows each contribution. You can “tweet,” only to friends or read what others say about themselves (twitter follow).  Twitter says the service is to stay in touch and hang out with friends, no matter where you are or what you do. “The idea that everyone knows what we do at every moment and wants the day, it’s hard to believe, and there are signs that Twitterer start reducing the revelations of what they do in their daily life. to justify As usual with new things happening in the world of technology, it is an attempt to what people are doing. Twitter asks what message to 140 characters “ambient information” about a person. Jaiku calls “social peripheral vision.” Neither explanation seems too heavy to be practical long-term communication. On the other hand, there are times when others want to know what you are doing. For example, A Twitterer sent updates to the delivery room when his child was also waiting for news. A small technology company announced the launch of new products with Twitter such like twitter follow tool. News organizations like the BBC to use Twitter as an alert service for securities and a BBC journalist Twitter used to follow his journey through countries, to keep readers abreast of what he did. Anyone who has used a great GPS system, including a great motorcycle GPS system, will know how user friendly and useful a good GPS can be. With modern GPS technology coming of age and modern digital mapping technology improving, a great motorcycle GPS can turn a ride into a pleasure.

What is GPS? For those who don’t know, GPS stands for Global Positioning System. It is a navigation and positioning technology pioneered by the US army, that has been taken to it’s ultimate and turned into a complete user friendly modern navigation solution. Whilst in the past GPS was really just the province of the military, the technology is now so good, and so cheap, that anyone needing the ultimate in navigation can afford it.

That includes motorcyclists, modern motorcycle GPS has also come of age.

Basically GPS works by cross referencing the signals from a number of satellites above the head of the user and using those references to plot the user’s position on the globe. It will only work where there are available satellites, so if you can’t pick up the signals your GPS won’t work.

Modern GPS is accurate, depending on the number of satellites available, to wit read this entry »

A Movie That Shows The True Side Of Capitalism -

Have you ever seen a documentary by Michael Moore? If so, you either love him or hate him. His most popular movie was Fahrenheit 911. While this had a democratic slant, it still made for interesting viewing for anyone. One of his more recent films is Capitalism: A Love Story. Once I saw it listed on Direct tv Movies on Demand, I knew I had to watch it. I braced myself for what was to come and hit play.

This was actually a very entertaining and informative film. It was more about defending the public from big banks than supporting any political party. This made it a film that all Americans can appreciate – aside from the bankers. Another great aspect of this film is how they show that the big bank bailout was sold to the public by announcing there would be another Great Depression if it didn’t pass. There’s nothing more powerful than fear when you’re attempting to sell the masses.

A lot of the film focuses on rising foreclosures and people getting kicked out of their homes. But it also shows people refusing to leave their homes, which has made for an interesting predicament in the United States. Should people have to pay to stay, or do they have a right to stay because they were scammed? The answer will depend on who you talk to. One thing is for sure, this is one film that will get you thinking, and possibly asking questions.
